Fully cured Paraloid B-72

Here are some of the ideas our social media followers shared with us on how to clean a jar of fully cured Paraloid B-72 without solvents:

  • Swell by adding hot water, remove and discard, or

  • Heat above Tg in oven, remove and discard, or

  • Soften in hot water bath, remove and discard, or

  • Re-use: weigh cured Paraloid bottle, subtract weight of identical empty bottle (= weight of cured resin), add acetone according to concentration needed.
